Job Description

Go Gridless Philippines Corporation is seeking a full-time Project Manager for solar energy projects in Taguig, Metro Manila. The role involves leading project life cycles, coordinating with stakeholders, overseeing installations, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, project management experience in solar energy, and strong leadership skills. The position requires on-site work and travel as needed.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee our solar energy projects from conception to completion. This role involves strategic planning, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Project Leadership:



Lead and manage end-to-end project life cycle of solar energy installations, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.


Develop project plans, outlining timelines, resources, and key milestones.


Coordinate with Operations Manager on manpower allocation and construction plans to ensure optimal resource utilization.


Oversee installation teams both in-house and subcontracted.

Stakeholder Management:



Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing regular project updates.


Facilitate effective communication among internal engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.


Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to provide project insights and gather feedback.

Project Execution:



Oversee the review and coordination of electrical and installation plans with engineering staff.


Ensure project installation inspections are conducted, addressing technical queries, and resolving issues promptly.


Supervise project activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Technical Oversight:



Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for solar system settings and configurations.


Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and ensure optimal system performance.


Assist in the design and review of energy systems, including Single Line Diagrams, equipment layouts, and Bill of Materials.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:



Conduct inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.


Identify and address any deviations or necessary rectifications to meet company standards.


Ensure all necessary permits and documentation for Net Metering or City Hall applications are coordinated and compliant with regulations.

Team Management:



Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.


Ensure installation teams follow project schedules and plans, and perform regular evaluations to improve efficiency.


Support the Operations Manager in resolving any on-site issues and implementing effective solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:



Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; must be a Registered Electrical Engineer.


Proven experience in project management, preferably in solar energy or renewable energy sectors.


Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale projects.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Tagalog.


Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD, Sketchup).


Safety officer certification and a valid driver's license are desired.


Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.
