EHS Officer (Central Visayas)

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is hiring an EHS Officer for their Cebu City location. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting audits, coordinating EHS programs, and collaborating with various departments. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of experience in safety and environmental management, and must possess SO2 Certification and PCO Accreditation. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
• Monitors the subsidiaries compliance to regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates with subsidiaries’ EHS Officers in the implementation of EHS Programs (including Emergency Preparedness).
• Conducts onsite audit and inspections.
• Coordinates with relevant department on the implementation of risk controls.
• Collaborate with BU Operations in the implementation of the Subsidiary Management Framework (SMF).
• Performs all other tasks (aligned to achieving the department objectives) assigned by the immediate head

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in safety and environmental management
• Proficient in MS Office, Google applications, and AI tools
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Team player with high standards of ethics, integrity, and accountability
• Must have SO2 Certification and PCO Accreditation
