Project Manager (Energy Domain)

​Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in technical delivery,Agile project management, and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering complex technology solutions within the Energy & Utilities domain, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, quality, and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, development, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Drive Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Ensure technical delivery aligns with business objectives and architectural standards.

Promote and oversee automated testing strategies, including test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.

Track project progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and release planning.

Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring timely issue resolution.

Manage vendor and client relationships and provide regular project status updates to leadership.

Ensure compliance with quality, security, and governance standards within the energy sector.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years as a Project Manager or Technical Delivery Manager.

Proven experience delivering enterprise applications using Agile methodologies.

Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and software quality assurance practices.

Hands-on knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, or similar).

Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Experience

Experience in the Energy & Utilities domain, including power generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, or retail energy.

Understanding of energy industry processes, regulatory compliance, smart metering, asset management, or grid modernization initiatives.

Experience delivering cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with microservices architecture, API integrations, and enterprise integration patterns.

PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or SAFe certifications are preferred.
