Vallum Associates is hiring a Structured Finance Analyst in Connecticut to support financial evaluation and execution of renewable energy projects. Responsibilities include financial modeling, project financing, transaction support, and investment analysis for solar and energy storage assets. Candidates should have 1-3+ years of experience in structured or project finance, preferably within the energy sector, and possess strong analytical and Excel skills.
​Summary

We are seeking a Structured Finance Analyst to support the financial evaluation and execution of renewable energy and power projects. This role will focus on financial modeling, project financing, transaction support, and investment analysis for solar, energy storage, and other renewable energy assets. The ideal candidate will have experience in structured or project finance within the energy or infrastructure sector.




Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial models for renewable energy and power projects.

Support project financing activities, including debt, equity, and tax equity transactions.

Perform financial analysis, investment valuations, and cash flow forecasting.

Assist with due diligence, financial reporting, and transaction execution.

Review project agreements, financing documents, and commercial contracts.

Work closely with development, legal, accounting, and external financing partners.

Prepare presentations and investment materials for senior leadership and lenders.

Monitor project performance and support portfolio management activities.




Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

1 – 3+ years of experience in Structured Finance, Project Finance, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis.

Preferred experience in renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or utility-scale solar projects.

Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.

Experience with project finance, debt financing, tax equity, or infrastructure investments is highly preferred.

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
