A leading facility management company operating in the Boise, Idaho, US area is actively recruiting for a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist. This crucial role ensures compliance with all safety regulations and promotes a safe and healthy working environment across multiple sites. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive EHS programs, including hazard identification, risk assessment, accident investigation, and the development of corrective actions. Your duties will involve conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards, such as OSHA. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering safety training to employees at all levels, fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations, industrial hygiene principles, and safety management systems. Experience in developing and implementing emergency response plans and managing hazardous waste is highly desirable. You will work closely with management and operational teams to integrate EHS best practices into daily operations. Excellent communication and reporting skills are essential, as you will be responsible for documenting incidents, tracking safety metrics, and preparing reports for regulatory agencies and senior management.
