Job Description
Florida Gulf Coast University seeks an Adjunct Faculty member for Ecology & Environmental Studies. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, engaging in innovative instruction, and fulfilling additional duties as assigned. Candidates must have a Master's degree in a relevant field and demonstrate effective teaching potential. This part-time position requires commitment to student learning and collaboration within the university and community.
Job Summary

Assignments will include teaching, at both undergraduate and/or graduate levels, as applicable. Teaching assignments may be on the main campus or at off-campus sites within our region. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
Job Description
Typical duties include but not limited to:
Teaches courses within Ecology & Environmental Studies, which may include Plants and Society BOT2800.Engages in teaching activities commensurate with expectations for adjunct faculty in The Water School.
Other Duties:
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Additional Job Description
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field from a regionally accredited institution by the time of application.Demonstrated evidence of or potential for effective teaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching related General Education courses at the college level.
