Manager (Sustainability Energy Solutions, Finance)

SP Group is seeking a Manager for Sustainability Energy Solutions in Finance, based in Singapore. The role involves hands-on operational finance tasks, including GL activities, financial reporting, compliance, and auditing. Candidates should have a degree in Accountancy/Business and 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably from Big Four firms. The position emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and strong analytical skills.
The incumbent will operate in a lean team structure and is expected to perform full hands-on operational finance work, including JV postings, invoice issuance, asset capitalisation and preparation of schedules, while supporting coordination and business partnering functions.


What You’ll Do



Lead the full spectrum of GL activities, including month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting


Maintain accurate accounting books, ensure compliance with accounting standards and support statutory reporting


Review GST and corporate tax workings and submissions


Manage internal and external audit engagements and ensure proper documentation and controls


Provide technical accounting advice and partner with business teams on new projects and commercial initiatives


Analyse monthly financial results, track key financial KPIs, and support budgeting and forecasting


Identify and drive process improvements, system enhancements, and finance workflow setup



What You’ll Need:



Degree in Accountancy/Business from a reputable University


Preferably 5-7 years of related work experience in the Big Four audit firms and commercial experience


Adaptability and a growth mindset, with the ability to rotate across varying job scopes and roles


Good analytical and problem-solving skills


Proactive, hands-on, resourceful and with an eye for details


Effective team player, highly motivated and independent


Experience in financial modelling or investment decisions desirable


Independent self-starter


Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Power Point and Word
