A leading advisory firm is seeking a Senior Project Finance & Infrastructure Advisory Manager to play a key leadership role in originating, managing, and executing complex infrastructure and project finance transactions across Africa.




This is a senior, client-facing position requiring a highly commercial professional with extensive project finance experience, strong financial modelling expertise, and a proven track record of delivering transactions from inception through to financial close.




Key Responsibilities

Lead the execution of complex project finance, infrastructure, debt raising, refinancing, and PPP transactions.Manage multiple high-value mandates simultaneously while ensuring exceptional client delivery.Oversee the development and review of sophisticated financial models and transaction analyses.Advise clients on funding strategies, capital structures, and financing solutions.Lead engagements with lenders, investors, sponsors, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders.Review and negotiate commercial agreements, term sheets, and financing documentation.Manage due diligence processes and transaction workstreams.Prepare and review investment papers, information memoranda, management presentations, and funding proposals.Support business development activities, client pitches, and relationship management initiatives.Mentor, manage, and develop junior team members while contributing to a high-performance culture.


Requirements

CA(SA), CFA, or a relevant Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Investment qualification.5+ years' experience in project finance, infrastructure advisory, corporate finance, investment banking, development finance, or infrastructure investing.Demonstrated experience leading infrastructure, energy, transport, water, or PPP transactions.Strong understanding of limited recourse financing structures.Advanced financial modelling and valuation capability.Strong commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to manage transactions independently and deliver under tight deadlines.
