Pollution Control Officer

AVITUS KIDNEY CARE AND DIALYSIS CENTER is seeking a Pollution Control Officer in Olongapo City, Zambales. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with environmental laws, overseeing environmental monitoring and pollution control facilities, and managing waste disposal. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry and be an accredited PCO. This is a full-time, in-person position.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to environmental laws (like Philippine DENR-EMB rules), secure permits, and submit regular monitoring reports.Environmental Monitoring: Oversee testing (stack emissions, water sampling), manage pollution control facilities (sewage, air filters), and monitor hazardous waste disposal.Waste Management: Supervise proper handling, storage, and disposal of solid, hazardous wastes, and used oil.
QUALIFICATION
Male or FemaleBachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental) or Chemistry or any related course.Must be an accredited PCO by the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB).Strong knowledge of environmental laws, technical understanding of pollution control, problem-solving, communication, and data management.
