Group Chief Financial Officer - Energy & Associated Industry

Our client is a leading PE looking to invest and set up a large scale energy portfolio.




Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full spectrum of finance operations across regional offices in APACManage project finance, investments and help with company's long term strategy in the SEA regionLead and develop local finance teams, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, compliance, and internal controlsSet up and manage finance-related systems and processes, including cash flow planning, payment cycles, and monthly reportingAct as the primary finance point of contact for M&A transactions, including reviewing due diligence reports and working with consultants on deal executionManage external advisors on tax structuring, SPA negotiations, and account finalisation for transaction closingsSupport strategic initiatives, investor reporting, and board-level financial oversightDrive process improvements and automation across finance functions to scale with business growth


Key Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA, or equivalent)Minimum 115 years of experience with a well round experience in M&A, Project finance and transactional accounting and compliance matters.Proven track record in regional finance leadership, including experience working with cross-border teamsStrong knowledge of financial operations, reporting, tax structuring, and M&A supportComfortable working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environmentDemonstrates agility, ambition, and flexibility to adapt to a start up cultureExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
