VP of People

REGENT is hiring a VP of People in North Kingstown, RI, to develop HR strategies supporting their mission of creating the seaglider, an electric flying machine. The role includes overseeing talent management, organizational development, and compliance. Candidates should have extensive experience in people operations within high-growth sectors, preferably aerospace or manufacturing. REGENT has significant backing and aims to launch its prototype soon.
REGENT is building the seaglider; the first electric flying machine that will transport commercial passengers. With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade.

We are backed by the world’s best investors: the same investors who are behind SpaceX, Anduril, and Boom Supersonic, in addition to strategic investors like Lockheed Martin, Japan Airlines, and Hawaiian Airlines. We have over $9B in orders from some of the industry’s largest operators and are hard at work getting our full-scale, human-carrying prototype on the water next year.

REGENT is seeking a VP of People to develop and implement long-range human resources strategies to support the company’s mission and overall business goals. In this role you will oversee all aspects of People and Talent, including organizational development, talent acquisition and management, legal and policy compliance, and labor relations for both exempt and non-exempt workforces. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in people operations management within a high-growth, fast-paced environment, ideally in aerospace, manufacturing, or a related industry.
