Hays is seeking a Senior to Principal EIA Consultant specializing in water-related chapters in Cardiff, UK. Your new role




They are looking for an EIA Consultant specialising in technical water related chapters. Open to varying levels from Senior to Principal level. You’ll work on major infrastructure projects such as wind farms, solar farms and transport infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include…
Analysis and report writing to compile the hydrogeology, hydrology and water environment chapters of Environmental Impact AssessmentsBe involved with project managementUse GIS, CAD and other softwareSite visits and fieldwork to support consultancy and water monitoring projects (sometimes involve travel and overnight accommodation)Client meetingsCommunicate effectively internally and externallyEnsure compliance with relevant regulatory processesBuild upon your knowledge of water regulatory frameworksImplement health and safety processes

What you'll need to succeed




Proven experience in writing hydrogeology, hydrology and water environment chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments (Not just EIA Coordination)A degree in an environmental or related subjectWillingness to work from the Cardiff office 3 times a week and attend site visits when neededUK driving license
