QA/QC Engineer

Sabi Jobs is seeking 5 QA/QC Engineers in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Responsibilities include supervising QA/QC activities, developing quality management plans, ensuring compliance with project standards, and guiding junior engineers. Quality engineers define quality standards for the creation of products or services. They check to make sure the products and services are in compliance with the quality standards, and they coordinate quality improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise QA/QC activities for larger projects, including quality testing and documentation.
• Develop and review quality management plans (QMPs) and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Conduct supplier and subcontractor to ensure compliance with project quality standards.
• Address and resolve complex non-conformities and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Job Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
• Experience: 3 years of working experience
• Strong understanding of construction materials and quality standards.
• Proficiency in quality management systems and processes.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Key Technical skills:
• Knowledge of quality control techniques,
• Quality management systems,
• Auditing, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Soft skills such as problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, teamwork, time management, and continuous improvement are also crucial for success in this role
