Manager, Environmental Services

CharterCARE Health of Rhode Island, Inc is seeking a Manager of Environmental Services in Providence, RI. The role involves overseeing EVS, Transport, and Laundry staff, developing cleaning programs, and managing departmental training. Candidates should have 3-5 years of supervisory experience in environmental services, preferably in healthcare. A high school diploma is required, and proficiency with spreadsheets and databases is preferred. This is a full-time position.
Summary: Is accountable for the EVS, Transport and Laundry staff functions throughout the CharterCare facilities. Responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of a coordinated cleaning programs and departmental trainings and initiatives. Coordinates the efficient operation of all systems and equipment.


Education: High School diploma or equivalent.


Experience: Three to five years proven supervisory and basic management skills in the area of environmental services. Ability to work with large multi-disciplined environment preferably in health care. Ability to work with spreadsheets and databases preferred.
