• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environment Health or related field

• SAMTRAC, NEBOSH or equivalent SHE qualification advantageous

• 5–8 years’ HSE experience within healthcare, engineering, pharmaceutical, engineering, construction or highly regulated operational environments

• Registration with relevant professional bodies preferred

• Sound understanding of COIDA and Compensation Fund processes

• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and HSE audits

• Understanding of hospital environments and clinical constraints

• High level of accountability and professionalism

• Strong report writing and presentation skills.

• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills

• Solutions-driven and proactive mindset

• Ability to operate effectively within critical healthcare environments
