Head of Marketing, Energy Events

The Company is seeking a Head of Marketing for Energy Events with a strong background in B2B media and a proven track record in event marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that encompasses traditional and innovative tactics to enhance the visibility and success of the events. This role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders, including the MD, and requires the ability to manage the marketing P&L, as well as 3rd party relationships. The Head of Marketing will also work with various teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing collateral, lead generation, and the execution of robust visitor campaigns.

Applicants must have at least 5 years' of experience in a management role within the events or B2B media sector, a degree in a relevant field, and a deep understanding of marketing best practices, particularly in social media. The role demands a candidate with a keen eye for market trends, the ability to anticipate and respond to competitor activities, and a proactive approach to market involvement. Experience in stakeholder management, a solid grasp of GDPR and data protection, and a background in developing online and digital marketing strategies are essential. The Head of Marketing will also be expected to lead a team, set KPIs, and foster relationships with trade associations, media, and industry organizations to support the events.
