Field & Technical Services, LLC (FTS), headquartered in the Pittsburgh region, is a nationwide environmental services provider specializing in remediation system operations and maintenance (O&M), groundwater monitoring, regulatory reporting, and remedial construction oversight. We support public- and private‑sector clients across the U.S. with technically complex, long‑term environmental remediation programs.
We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager – O&M to support and lead ongoing remediation operations from our Carnegie, PA office. This role is ideal for a project manager with strong field experience who enjoys balancing technical oversight, client coordination, and operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage environmental remediation and O&M projects from planning through execution, including budget, schedule, and regulatory compliance.Serve as primary point of contact for clients, regulators, subcontractors, and internal field teams.Coordinate and oversee field staff and subcontractors performing:Remediation system operations and maintenanceWater monitoringSampling and system optimizationConstruction and repair activitiesPrepare proposals, scopes of work, work plans, O&M manuals, and technical reports.Oversee performance and maintenance of groundwater treatment systems and related infrastructure.Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations (EPA, PADEP, NJDEP, WVDEP, etc.).Monitor project financials, including labor tracking, invoicing support, and change management.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to company and site‑specific health and safety plans.Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related discipline.Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting, remediation, or environmental construction.Demonstrated experience with remediation O&M and field‑based project execution.Strong organizational, communication, and client‑management skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple active projects.Willingness to perform field work in varying outdoor conditions.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience managing remediation system O&M programs.OSHA 40‑Hour HAZWOPER (current or ability to obtain).OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety certification.Familiarity with long‑term groundwater remediation, landfills, industrial sites, or Superfund/Brownfield projects.Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
