Responsibilities

Define and implement long-term data technology strategy and roadmapSimplify and modernize data architecture, ensuring reusable services and cost efficiencyDevelop and maintain data architecture roadmap, catalog, and integration frameworksEstablish best practices, patterns, and frameworks for modern data solutionsPartner with engineers, developers, BI teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutionsTranslate business requirements into reusable architecturesProvide architectural guidance and secure senior stakeholder engagement for strategic alignmentEnsure solutions are secure, performant, resilient, and cost-effectiveDefine standards for data access, APIs, streaming, and real-time use casesContinuously monitor and optimize architectureDevelop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data modelsEnsure compliance with governance, privacy, and regulatory standardsStay current with emerging data technologies and recommend improvementsParticipate in cross-functional IT initiatives
Skills

Bachelor's in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience7+ years in data architecture, database design, or data engineering; experience leading data warehousing, analysis, and modeling projectsExpertise in modern data platforms (Azure, Fabric, SAP Datasphere)Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, integration, analytics architecture, and governanceExperience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and Azure DevOpsFamiliarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, SynapseExperience with streaming and real-time architecturesCloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)Background in regulated or complex enterprise environmentsExperience in regulated or complex environments (e.g., industrial, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, or finance)
