Climate Sustainability Manager

Milwaukee Water Commons is seeking a Climate Sustainability Manager to lead the Branch Out Milwaukee Urban Tree Canopy Project. This role focuses on community engagement, environmental justice, and urban forestry to enhance green infrastructure and climate resilience. Ideal candidates are community-centered, collaborative, and committed to anti-racist environmental practices. The position is full-time and based in Milwaukee, WI.
Milwaukee Water Commons is hiring a Climate Sustainability Manager to lead neighborhood-based work with our Branch Out Milwaukee Urban Tree Canopy Project.

This role is rooted in community relationships and environmental justice. The Climate Sustainability Manager will partner with residents to assess, plant, and care for trees, expanding the urban canopy to help reduce flooding, improve water quality, cool our neighborhoods, and strengthen public health.
