Solar Energy Partners LLC is hiring a Solar Technician - Roof Lead in Smyrna, GA. The role involves installing solar panels, connecting electrical components, and ensuring system functionality and safety. Responsibilities
• Installing solar panels and related equipment, following design plans and specifications.
• Mounting solar panels on rooftops or other structures, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
• Connecting wiring and electrical components to integrate solar systems into existing electrical systems.
• Performing tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety of solar systems.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with solar installations and making necessary repairs.
• Assisting with site surveys and evaluations to determine the feasibility and optimal placement of solar systems.
• Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and principles.
• Basic understanding of solar systems including installation techniques and methods of power transmission (e.g., conduit).
• Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in solar installation.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Solid communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Previous experience in solar installation or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
Schedule
• Monday through Friday
• Travel between 25% and 50%
