SOLAR DESIGN ENGINEER (for Solar Company)

Go Gridless Philippines Corporation is seeking a Solar Design Engineer to evaluate project sites, create solar designs using AUTOCAD and Helioscope, and assist with project inspections and technical support. The role requires experience in electrical projects, coordination of permits, and proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office and AUTOCAD. The position is full-time based in Makati City, Philippines, with a salary range of ₱28K–₱35K per month.

We work with a variety of businesses and partners to provide quality, industry-leading solutions sourced from around the world.*Job Description:GO GRIDLESS Philippines Corporation is in need of a Solar Design Engineer to complete the follow tasks and duties:Evaluation of project site conditions to determine rooftop space availability, suitable roof spaces for solar, electrical requirements and equipment requirements – site visits and also desktop studies based on information obtained from the clientCreation of Solar Panel and Balance of System designs for proposal and construction – using AUTOCAD as well as solar design software HelioscopeCreation of Single Line Diagrams - AUTOCADCreation of electrical load schedules – AUTOCAD and EXCELCreation of Bill of Quantities - EXCELReview and coordination of electrical and installation plans with other internal engineering staffAssistance with preparing quotations and sales proposals using company templates – EXCEL and WORDConducting project inspections during and after construction for creation of As-Built plans (Single Line Diagram, Roof Layout and Equipment Layouts)Technical assistance for commissioning of systems, and troubleshooting for settings and configuration of solar systems and equipment, including liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical problems at the project site.Residential and commercial types of installationsJob Qualifications:Reliable and responsible – must be on time/schedule, well presented and organized.Experience on various sizes of projects small and large is preferred.Experience and knowledge in coordinating the required paperwork and permits for Net Metering or City Hall applications, and ensuring projects are being installed to meet such standards and requirements is preferred.Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer.Speaks English and Tagalog.Fluent in English writingElectrical project experienceWorking Smartphone with good cameraAbility to use computer software – Microsoft Office, Online Meeting (Google, Zoom and Microsoft Teams), AUTOCAD, Sketchup, online PV Design Software (Arka360)
