We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join the School of Business at Temasek Polytechnic. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in sustainability finance education and help shape the next generation of business professionals.

## What You'll Be Doing

Your primary focus will be distilling the knowledge and skills required for sustainability finance into stackable teaching units designed for both PET (Professional Education and Training) and CET (Continuing Education and Training) programs. You'll develop comprehensive teaching and assessment curriculum alongside course materials specifically tailored for these learners, driving teaching excellence across the institution.

You'll conduct PET classes and CET training sessions in accordance with Temasek Polytechnic's teaching quality standards. Beyond the classroom, you'll collaborate closely with industry partners to weave relevant industry linkages into your teaching curriculum and actively engage with industry projects and workgroups. This ensures our students are learning content that directly relates to real-world applications and current market needs.

Your responsibilities will also include leading and mentoring students through their academic journey—whether in school curriculum, school activities, interest groups, or student organizations. You'll have the opportunity to organize and administer student-related activities such as learning journeys and educational trips. Additionally, you'll lead and actively contribute to school activities, poly-based committees, and inter-poly initiatives.

Teaching business school subjects in conjunction with sustainable finance subjects will be a core part of your role, allowing you to integrate holistic business perspectives with specialized sustainability knowledge.

## What We're Looking For

You should hold a tertiary qualification in finance, banking, investment, asset management, business, economics, and/or sustainability. Advanced degrees or certifications in sustainability are a distinct plus and will strengthen your candidacy.

Working experience in sustainable/green finance, sustainability management, or corporate sustainability in local contexts is preferred. Experience with climate change management, carbon markets, transition plans, decarbonization strategies, and/or impact indicators reporting will be particularly valuable.

Beyond formal qualifications and experience, we're looking for someone who is a strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with others to drive positive learning outcomes. You should have a growth mindset that keeps you abreast of industry developments and emerging trends in sustainability finance. Good administrative skills with strong multitasking abilities are essential, as is digital savviness and the ability to leverage digital tools for teaching and learning.

Most importantly, you should have a genuine passion for coaching, mentoring, and guiding students, with a commitment to their development both as professionals and as individuals.
