National Grid Renewables is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager in Minneapolis, MN, to oversee procurement for utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects. Responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation, with a background in energy storage procurement preferred. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is also desired.

National Grid Renewables is a full-service renewable energy company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We develop and operate utility-scale wind and solar projects across the United States. Our team provides custom solutions for utilities and corporations looking to harness renewable energy for business growth.

The Sr. Procurement Manager or Director will oversee and manage the procurement of major PV, BESS and wind equipment for utility scale projects. This includes developing and implementing procurement strategies, identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a multi-year commodity procurement strategy to support a 1GW/year solar, wind, and energy storage pipeline.
• Monitor risks associated with renewable equipment supply chain and procurement and develop mitigation strategies.
• Incorporate market intelligence and vendor inputs into procurement and contracting strategies.
• Actively collaborate with internal technical teams and suppliers to continually drive down LCOE (Levelized Cost of Electricity) ($/W).
• Develop supplier strategy for energy storage, inverter, GSU, wind turbine suppliers.
• Support Project Management teams during early and late stage project development.
• Supervise procurement manager and/or procurement specialist.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing functions, commodity management, and contract negotiation experience. Energy storage procurement experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or business preferred.
• Project management skills working with large-scale solar, wind, and/or storage development projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and execute multiple contracts on schedule.
