Recycling Development Officer

The Recycling Development Officer at Kelly in Germiston, South Africa, will establish and grow a supplier base for cullet recovery, manage relationships, enforce quality standards, coordinate logistics, and handle administrative tasks. Candidates should have a Grade 12 certificate, a diploma in Commercial Studies or Logistics, and at least 5 years of experience in recycling, waste management, or logistics. This is a full-time position.
*Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and grow a qualified supplier base to increase cullet recovery volumes.Drive supplier growth through continuous engagement and relationship management.Communicate and enforce cullet quality standards to ensure consistency.Coordinate logistics between transporters and suppliers.Monitor, analyse, and report on variances in cullet and transport costs.Process new vendor applications and manage all related administrative workflows.Compile and maintain reports for regional performance tracking.Liaise and collaborate with key stakeholders within the recycling industry.Handle telephonic and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.Perform general administrative duties as required.*Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 / MatricA Diploma in Commercial Studies or Logistics (advantageous)Valid driver’s license (essential)*Experience & Knowledge**Minimum 5 years’ experience in:RecyclingWaste ManagementLogisticsMarketing and/or SalesStrong proficiency in MS OfficeBasic understanding of business principles and financial statements
