The Role

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to coordinate, manage and deliver the end-to-end project life cycle for high profile urban/land development, subdivision, earthworks, and urban renewal projects.

With previous experience working in the land development market, the successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-level innovative, economical, and practical methods to drive the success of complex, high-priority projects across major urban development projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage complex and large-scale urban projects from start to finish – feasibility, design, and construction management
• Provision of project management and project governance disciplines to achieve reliable project performance in terms of sophistication, timeliness, and quality
• Financial management, client liaison and contract administration of assigned projects
• Oversight and governance of projects to resolve project issues and ensure project product is of high quality
• Promotion and application of internal project management requirements
• Provision of coaching and support to project personnel
• Technical problem solving
• Source, build and maintain strong and effective client relationships through successful project delivery and targeted activities

About You
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years domestic project management experience, with an urban development/land development focus
• Previous experience working within an Engineering Design Consultancy
• Previous site experience (desired)
• High level communication skills to advise and guide project delivery in a pro-active manner
• Knowledge of relevant design codes, Local Regulatory Authority Guidelines and Australian Standards
• A track record of achievement in a similar role and a passion for building trusted relationships with tier one developers to drive positive change and win new work
