We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager Marine Geophysical Surveys to join our team based in Dubai this role you will be responsible and accountable for project delivery. You will ensure efficient and effective execution of the agreed work in the field of Marine Geophysics such as Pre-engineering surveys Pre-Construction surveys Seabed Clearance surveys across the Middle East.



Key Responsibilities



Achieving Project Excellence:

Support Key Account Managers Business DevelopmentManagers and Commercial Managers during the tendering process in preparing the technical sections of commercial proposals. To be fully aware of the projects contractual and commercial conditions provide amendments where needed and together with the Account Manager prepare invoices for the clients and chase payments if they are delayed. Undertake any other duties as appropriate within your competence when required.

Delivering Project Excellence:

Ensure that assigned projects are executed following Fugro standards and client specifications. Plan organise and coordinate to balance project cost time safety quality benefit and risk. Monitor project budgets forecasting schedules and performance against KPIs and develop project documentation including project execution plans.

Link between business and innovation:

Link the teams that use the technology/solutions and those that develop them. Ensure that the workable technology/solutions teams deliver the proper outcomes for Fugro & our clients.

Leadaprojectteam:

Lead a project team to achieve an optimal balance between cost time and quality and betweencost benefit and risk on projects of complexity up to (and including) 4 by ensuring botheffective and efficient execution of the project in such a way that the QHSSE technical commercial and contractual requirements are met. Support more complex projects by leading a work package. Key contacts and relationships include Project Delivery Manager Project Directors Senior Project Managers and Client Project Management Teams. Apply knowledge of professional principles and practices

Lead medium to high complexity projects:

Lead medium to high complexity (level 4) projects (including the proposal phase) by applying effectivecommunicationandprinciplesofprojectgovernanceandcontrolsothat theQHSSEtechnicalcommercialand contractual requirements are met. Key contacts and relationships include Project Delivery Manager and more Senior Project Managers. Developknowledgeofprofessionalprinciplesandpracticesandhasexperienceinleading projects

What Skills & Experience Will You Have

Education

Bachelors degree in science preferably geoscience domain 5 years experience with at least 2 years experience in technical project support/management in Offshore Oil and Gas. Working experience in the field of marine surveys in Middle East is a must Ability to work and part of the team and also independently.
Good communication and fluency in spoken and written English. Arabic would be an advantage Internationally recognized Project management certification will be an advantage.

License/ certification/ qualification

PMP (Project Management Professional USA) or APM (Associate Project Management UK) certification What we offer
