About the Role:

This role will oversee purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory control, and coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure materials are delivered accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced construction environments and understands how procurement directly impacts project timelines and profitability.

This position offers long-term growth potential as our commercial portfolio continues to expand.

Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement of solar modules, inverters, racking systems, balance-of-system (BOS) materials, and electrical equipment.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply chains.
• Coordinate material forecasting with project managers and operations teams to support project schedules.
• Oversee inventory management and tracking across warehouses and 3PL partners.
• Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and logistics coordination.
• Monitor lead times and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
• Maintain accurate inventory and procurement reporting using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Reconcile deliveries, track discrepancies, and resolve material shortages.
• Support cost control initiatives and margin optimization.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate invoice reconciliation and vendor payment processing.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience (solar or construction preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis for procurement tracking and reporting.
• Experience managing inventory and working with 3PL warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of construction materials, electrical components, or solar equipment preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management software preferred.
• Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills.

Work Schedule & Travel:
• Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on project needs.
• Occasional travel to project sites, warehouses, or vendor locations may be required.
