Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in packaging materials, processes, and design to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, research and development, supply chain, and sustainability to identify and prioritize packaging needs and opportunities.
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for packaging innovation initiatives.
Conduct market and consumer research to identify key insights and opportunities for packaging innovation.
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, suppliers, and agencies to support packaging development and innovation projects.
Ensure all packaging solutions are in compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.
Conduct regular reviews and analysis of packaging performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Champion sustainability initiatives within the company and drive the adoption of sustainable packaging practices.
Mentor and coach team members on packaging design and development best practices.
Represent the company at industry conferences and events to showcase our packaging innovation capabilities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop packaging messaging and branding strategies.
Manage and monitor intellectual property related to packaging designs and innovations.
Drive cost savings and efficiencies through packaging optimization and value engineering.
Continuously seek out new opportunities and areas for improvement to advance the company's packaging innovation capabilities.
