Job Description

Allpack is seeking a Key Account Manager in Cannock, UK, responsible for managing and growing an established portfolio of customer accounts. The role involves building relationships, conducting face-to-face meetings, and identifying opportunities for increased product penetration and spend. Candidates should have experience in account management or field sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage their own territory effectively.
At Allpack, our Account Managers play a critical role in driving sustainable revenue growth by retaining and developing our existing customer base. This role is all about deepening relationships, increasing product penetration, and ensuring our customers receive a truly world‑class service.




You’ll own an established portfolio of accounts within your territory, spending the majority of your time out on the road meeting customers face‑to‑face, carrying out account reviews and identifying opportunities to grow spend across our full product range.




Your success will be measured through customer retention, increased spend, and product mix within your territory:




What you’ll be doing:

Managing and growing an existing portfolio of customer accounts within your territoryBuilding strong, trusted relationships with key decision‑makersConducting regular account reviews and face‑to‑face customer visitsIdentifying opportunities to increase product range and spend within existing accountsProactively generating opportunities through outbound calls and on‑site visitsPlanning and managing your own diary, appointments and customer preparation (samples, presentations and reports)Producing sales reports and maintaining accurate account administrationManaging pricing, gross profit and applying necessary price increasesSupporting tenders and price reviews when existing clients go to marketResolving customer issues proactively, including stock queries, slow‑moving stock and lost businessWorking closely with your Packaging Consultant, Executive Sales Assistant and Inventory teamsAttending regular territory meetings to drive accountability, focus and result


What we’re looking for:

Proven experience in account management or field‑based sales, ideally within a B2B environmentStrong relationship‑building and communication skillsComfortable managing a territory and spending significant time customer‑facingCommercially focused, with a track record of growing existing accountsHighly organised, self‑motivated and able to manage your own workloadConfident handling pricing, tenders and customer negotiationsA professional and customer‑focused approach at all times
