Massachusetts General Hospital seeks an Epic Environment Manager to develop and implement strategies for reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainability. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with various departments and teams to promote sustainable practices and initiatives.
Monitor and track the hospital's energy and resource usage and identify opportunities for improvement.
Stay up-to-date on current environmental trends and best practices to continuously improve the hospital's sustainability efforts.
Manage and maintain the hospital's environmental certifications and accreditations.
Educate and train staff on sustainable practices and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures through environmentally friendly practices.
Collaborate with external partners and organizations to support the hospital's sustainability initiatives.
Communicate and report on the hospital's sustainability efforts and progress to stakeholders.
Conduct research and analysis to identify potential environmental risks and develop contingency plans.
Coordinate and oversee the proper disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure environmentally friendly products and services are utilized.
Continuously seek out new ways to improve and innovate the hospital's sustainability efforts.
