Business Development Manager – Solar PV

Mass Staffing Projects is seeking a Business Development Manager – Solar PV in Johannesburg, South Africa. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Business Development, Economics, or Marketing, along with 7 years of sales experience, preferably in the solar industry. Responsibilities include developing market strategies, generating leads, and conducting market research to identify potential clients. This is a full-time position.

Experience 7 years’ experience in a mid to senior level in Sales A medium sized Consulting company with international offices is looking to hire a Business Development Manager.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Economics or Marketing.
7 years’ experience in a mid to senior level in Sales.
Experience of working in a multinational, multi-segment environment with matrix reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or master’s degree in Business Administration.
Previous experience in the solar industry.

Responsibilities

Develop growth and market strategy on how to approach the client together with Country Manager SA and execute prospecting.
Generate leads and cold calling prospective customers to unlock new project opportunities.
Conduct market research and identify key commercial and industrial customers for distributed solar leasing and energy efficiency systems, within the SA market to maintain a healthy pipeline and ensure business continuity.
Have an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition to negotiate with stakeholders.
