Sales Director - Food Grade Seafood Division

Job Description:

NA Fisheries is looking for a highly motivated, outgoing, self-starter individual who wants to join a fun, hardworking, goal-oriented team. As the Sales Director of our Food Grade Seafood Division, you will be tasked with identifying new potential clients while maintaining sales with current ones. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory and sourcing products as needed to meet client demands.

The food grade seafood industry is highly competitive and places significant importance on the freshness and quality of the fish. Therefore, being well informed and creative on which markets you approach and what you offer is essential to your success in this position. Additionally, considering the importance of relationships in the seafood industry, you will occasionally need to travel for client visits and trade shows to create new connections and secure more sales.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of sales experience in the seafood industry
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficiency using Google Suite (Google Sheets/Docs), Excel
• Proficiency converting units (ex. EUR to USD, LBS to KG)
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally a few times a year
• Passion for sales and seafood

Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain existing client relationships
• Identify/acquire new clients and set up long-term programs with them
• Develop our markets domestically and internationally

Compensation:
• Fixed Salary (weekly commission advance)
• Commission (Average annual between $75,000 - $250,000+)
