Portfolio Manager/Investment Analyst

DSG Capital Advisors is seeking a Portfolio Manager/Investment Analyst in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves portfolio construction, enhancing quantitative research, and sector coverage. Primary Job Functions
• Portfolio construction based on quantitative, qualitative and technical research
• Assist in improving our quantitative research process and investment returns
• Take responsibility for research coverage of specific sectors/industries
• Develop and communicate investment thesis to clients and team members verbally and in writing
• Work across data systems to track returns and risk exposure

You Currently Possess
• At least 4 years of experience as an investment analyst or portfolio manager
• Specific experience developing or using a quantitative investment program
• In-depth analytical skills and the desire to constantly monitor the investment markets and make decisions with a high degree of conviction
• Strong Bloomberg capabilities including coding using BQNT language
• 4-year college degree in finance, math or data analytics
• Desire to work as part of an investment team
• Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
• An ability to work with deadlines, be flexible under pressure, and prioritize work
