Overview
OIC of America is seeking a dedicated and skilled Grants Writer to join our team. The Grants Writer will play a pivotal role in advancing OIC of America's mission by identifying funding opportunities, crafting persuasive grant proposals, and maintaining strong relationships with funding partners.

Responsibilities
Grant Research and Identification
• Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with OIC of America's programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed about funding trends, grant cycles, and eligibility criteria.
Proposal Development
• Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to gather relevant information for grant proposals.
• Write clear, compelling, and well-structured grant proposals that adhere to application guidelines and deadlines.
• Customize proposals to align with the specific goals and priorities of different funding entities.
Grant Application Management
• Oversee the end-to-end grant application process, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submission.
• Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar, tracking submission deadlines, reporting requirements, and follow-up tasks.
Relationship Building
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and potential funding partners, including foundations, government agencies, and corporate donors.
• Collaborate with the development team to explore new funding opportunities and diversify funding sources.
Compliance and Reporting
• Ensure compliance with grant terms and reporting requirements.
• Ensure grants are implemented according to the operational and financial needs of the organization.
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate grant reports, showcasing the impact of OIC of America's programs.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of successful grant writing for non-profit organizations
• Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using tools for contact information research and validation.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This role operates in a professional environment on a hybrid schedule.
The expected hours of the position are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
