The Environmental Specialist will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance with local, state, and federal programs related to air, waste, and wastewater management at the Brandenburg facility.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered:
Environmental compliance - 2+ years Compliance reporting - 2+ years Waste Management experience Familiarity with environmental regulatory frameworks Prior work experience in a similar industry Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Nice-to-have skills but are not required: Experience with environmental compliance in a manufacturing setting Knowledge of KYDEP and EPA regulations Proficiency in client programs and programming, with macro writing ability Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Key tasks and expectations for the role: Work closely onsite with plant personnel for environmental compliance Timely completion of daily/weekly/monthly inspections in various areas of the plants Assist in environmental compliance reporting, including Tier II, RCRA audit, WW DMR, and TRI reports Maintain existing environmental compliance programs and permits Support plant operations by reviewing proposed process changes for environmental impacts Participate in customer audits and government agency inspections Manage hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, including profiling and reporting Company Benefits & Culture Comprehensive health and wellness benefits Opportunities for professional development and growth Inclusive and supportive work environment
