Environmental Designer

24 Seven Talent is seeking an Environmental Designer for a hybrid role in Portland, OR, with a top global sportswear client. This 6-month contract position requires 2-3 years of experience in Interior and Environmental Design, particularly in retail. Candidates should be proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite. 24 Seven is partnering with a top global sportswear client to help them find a Environmental Designer- Retail Storytelling for this hybrid position in Portland, OR This is a 6 month contract with potential to extend working 4 days a week onsite. While on contract, you'd be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Ideal Candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in Interior and Environmental Design, with a focus on retail environments and a proven ability to apply design skills in real-world settings. They are highly proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite, with strong 3D design capabilities and advanced knowledge of CAD and visualization software.

As an Environmental Designer, you will be working under the direction of a Senior Designer or Director and will collaborate in the design of innovative retail environments. You will be working to elevate brand experiences though the development of 2D and 3D consumer facing design. You will be assisting on a large project with a strong creative vision that involves multiple specialized

disciplines and individuals. You will help create original design solutions as well as help develop and execute work by others.

What you will do
• 3D modeling, photoshop, 2D file production, visualization, presentation building and assistance
• Elevate brand design experience though original storytelling using 3D design for consumer-facing brand experience
• Design with clear ideation, through color, texture, spacing, scale and outstanding use of environments.
• You will need to communicate and present design concepts to team/leader/Director and
• Assist with creating effective presentations and design visuals using software or hand sketches.
• Skilled in SketchUp, AutoCAD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Bonus: Rhino, Parametric Design, V-Ray, Podium, Enscape
• Ability to manage electronic files for use by multiple parties.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree education in design (interiors, architecture, ID, Graphic/Communications)
• 2-3 years of Interior and Environmental Design experience with demonstrated ability to apply relevant skills
• Proven ability to perform and apply design skills, including architectural design, space planning, visual presentation development and layout
• High level of expertise using design or CAD software/technology including SketchUp, AutoCAD and Adobe Suite with ability to manage electronic files and libraries for use by multiple parties.
• Retail, restaurant or hospitality design industry experience is preferred
• Knowledge of design trends preferred
