Electrical Engineer RESS (Solar and Energy Storage)

CIG-EHOME is hiring an Electrical Engineer for Residential Energy Storage Systems (RESS) in Nigeria. The role requires a graduate with 1-2 years of experience in solar or power systems. Responsibilities include designing solar PV systems, conducting site inspections, installing and testing systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have basic knowledge of solar technology and electrical practices. This is a full-time, in-person position with a salary of ₦150,000 - ₦200,000 per month.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineering graduate with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in solar or power systems. The role focuses on supporting the deployment, installation, and maintenance of Residential Energy Storage Systems (RESS), including solar panels, inverters, and battery storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and sizing of solar PV systems and residential energy storage solutions.Support site inspections and feasibility assessments for solar installations.Participate in the installation and wiring of solar panels.Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance verification.Troubleshoot faults in solar PV and energy storage systems and escalate complex issues when necessary.Ensure installations comply with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.Maintain accurate installation records, technical documentation, and service reports.Provide technical support during and after installations.Requirements

OND in Electrical Engineering.1–2 years relevant experience in solar, electrical installations, or power systems.Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and energy storage (RESS).Understanding of electrical wiring, circuits, and safety practices.Familiarity with inverters, batteries, and charge controllers.Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and layouts.Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Attention to detail and safety consciousness.Strong willingness to learn and grow in renewable energy.Job Type: Full-time
