</div>Our client in the e -mobility and logistics industry is seeking a results -driven Business Developer to join their dynamic team. The company is dedicated to transforming last -mile delivery across Africa through sustainable, electric -powered transportation solutions that are eco -friendly, reliable, and cost -effective.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in the logistics industry, excellent networking skills, and a proven ability to identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities across corporate, individual, and e -commerce clients. This role requires a proactive professional who embodies integrity, innovation, and customer -centricity while driving business growth and market expansion.
Summary of Responsibilities</b></div>1.
Market
Research & Analysis</b>

Conduct in -depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the e -mobility and logistics sector.</span>

Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to support strategic business decisions.

Provide actionable insights to management for positioning and expansion strategies.
</li></ul>2. Lead Generation & Prospecting</b>

Identify and qualify leads through networking, industry events, referrals, and online research.</span>
</li>
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective corporate, individual, and e -commerce clients.
</li>
Actively pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to increase revenue.

Client
Engagement & Relationship Management</b>
</div>
Initiate and maintain relationships with key decision -makers and potential clients.</span>
</li>
Conduct presentations and pitch meetings to effectively communicate company’s value proposition.
</li>
Build and sustain long -term partnerships that promote client satisfaction and business retention.

Proposal
Development & Negotiation</b>
</div>
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals that meet client needs and company objectives.</span>
</li>
Lead contract negotiations alongside the legal and finance teams to secure favorable terms.
</li>
Drive the closing of deals to achieve business growth targets.
</li></ul>5. Collaboration & Cross -Functional Support</b>

Work closely with operations, marketing, customer service, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service execution.</span>

Provide client and market feedback to internal teams for product and service improvement.
</li>
Support marketing and promotional initiatives to strengthen company’s market presence.

Performance
Tracking & Reporting</b>

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business development outcomes.</span>
</li>
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal pipelines using CRM tools.

Provide regular progress reports and business insights to senior management

Requirements</h3>Bachelor’s degree in any field (Business, Marketing, or related discipline preferred).</span>
</li>
3–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
</li>
Proven track record of identifying and closing business opportunities.
</li>
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
</li>
Excellent networking and relationship management abilities.
</li>
Self -driven, goal -oriented, and capable of working independently.
</li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
