Commercial Solar Project Manager/Site Supervisor

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Solar Project Manager/Site Supervisor located in Virginia, United States. The role involves managing commercial solar projects from inception to completion, ensuring that milestones are met within budget and according to the timeline. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate with clients, oversee procurement, maintain safety compliance, track project progress, and address any challenges that arise. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities to successfully deliver solar energy solutions to clients.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of Commercial electrical and or Solar experience a must
• Able to work as the individual projects contracts require,. (Nights, weekends, etc)
• Able to travel and be onsite daily
• Project management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and systems management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client management and team coordination
• Problem-solving skills and ability to address challenges efficiently
• Proficiency in using project management tools and software
• Understanding of construction and electrical principles related to solar installation
• Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards in the solar industry
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred)
• PMP certification and solar industry experience are advantageous
