As a Brassica Biofuels System Agronomist, you will play a vital role in developing new cropping systems, focusing on water-limited and managed irrigation environments in the western US.
Responsibilities
+ Design and analyze multi-crop systems-level agronomic trials.
+ Develop agronomic recommendations based on research findings.
+ Collaborate on research projects with a team of scientists.
+ Build and maintain relationships with farmers and agronomists.
+ Engage in research collaborations and business partnerships.
Essential Skills
+ PhD in agronomy, plant sciences, or MS with 5 years relevant experience.
+ Knowledge and in-field experience with multi-crop systems.
+ Experience with field research processes, data analysis, and utilization.
+ Strong organizational skills for planning and coordinating experiments.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills for developing strong working relationships.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Research experience with brassica crops and renewable fuels is advantageous.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and self-directed.

This is a Contract position based out of Garden City, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
