Vice President - Sustainability Policy

IIX Global is seeking a Vice President - Sustainability Policy to enhance its ESG & Impact Advisory practice. The role involves engaging with corporates and financial institutions to implement ESG strategies and sustainability-linked finance solutions. Responsibilities include project management, proposal development, and representing IIX at industry events. The ideal candidate has 8-12+ years in ESG advisory and a strong background in sustainable finance, particularly in South and Southeast Asia.

In 2024, IIX launched IIX Intelligence™ , a global data hub evaluating gender diversity, ESG, and climate action among MSMEs. IIX is seeking a dynamic and strategic senior advisor to support the growth of its ESG & Impact Advisory practice for Corporates. You will engage with major corporates, regional conglomerates, and financial institutions to embed ESG strategies, impact measurement, and sustainability-linked finance solutions—including Orange Bonds™—into their operations. You will also help ensure ESG readiness, robust impact frameworks, and credible reporting through IIX's proprietary platforms—IIX Values™ (impact verification) and IIX Intelligence™ (data analytics).This is a senior client-facing role that combines business development, project leadership, and team mentorship. It is ideal for a candidate with a strong ESG/sustainable finance track record who is ready to help shape a fast-growing practice.


Lead or co-lead proposal development, pitches, and scoping of advisory mandates in ESG strategy, impact measurement, and sustainable finance.
Advisory Delivery & Project Management
Manage end-to-end delivery of client projects, including ESG diagnostics, impact frameworks, and sustainability-linked financing strategies.
Handle multiple concurrent projects across diverse industries (agribusiness, energy, manufacturing, consumer goods, finance).
Embed IIX Values™ and IIX Intelligence™ in client solutions to strengthen analytics, monitoring, and reporting.
Ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables aligned with both client and IIX standards.
Represent IIX at client workshops, industry events, and sustainability forums.
Contribute to thought leadership on ESG, gender-lens investing, and sustainable finance.
Support the Head of Advisory in building team capacity and refining delivery methodologies.
8 to 12+ years of leadership experience in ESG advisory, sustainability consulting, impact finance, or corporate sustainability strategy.


Deep experience working with corporates and/or financial institutions in South and Southeast Asia.Expertise in ESG regulation, supply chain sustainability, climate finance, blended finance, or sustainability-linked bonds.Strong capital markets understanding, with a proven ability to integrate gender-lens investing and ESG principles into financial solutions.Excellent leadership, client relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.Master's degree in sustainability, finance, economics, public policy, or a related discipline.
