Artha Energy Resources is seeking a Senior Solar Design Engineer to design solar PV systems for rooftop projects. The role requires expertise in AutoCAD, PV Syst, and various engineering calculations. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering and 2-6 years of experience. The position is remote for candidates in Pune and Mumbai, while Ahmedabad requires office presence. The salary ranges from ₹240K to ₹800K annually.

About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solar Design Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design of solar PV systems, from feasibility assessment to detailed engineering. This role demands deep technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.

Roles And Responsibilities



Proficient in solar PV system design for rooftop projects (commercial, industrial)Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolarlabKnowledge of PV Syst for energy generation simulation and performance analysisExpertise in AC and DC cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and cable schedulingStrong understanding of earthing design, lightning protection, and module mounting structuresExperience in shadow analysis, load calculations, and panel layout optimizationFamiliarity with national and international standards (IS, IEC, MNRE, DISCOM norms)Able to read and interpret architectural and structural drawingsExperience in site surveys and preparing BOQs, SLDs, and technical documentationCoordination with vendors, EPC teams, and clients during design and execution phasesAbility to manage multiple rooftop projects simultaneously

Qualifications & Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.2-6 years of experience in solar design engineering.Proven track record of successful solar project designs.Familiarity with solar energy technologies and industry standards.Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and PVsyst.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of grid-tied and off-grid systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel for site assessments as needed.
