Smart4Energy is hiring a Wind Energy Technical Performance Engineer in Dubai. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in wind power plant performance assessment and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. The role involves optimizing wind farm efficiency, solving technical problems, and supporting asset management initiatives. Applicants must be eligible to work in Dubai and possess professional English proficiency. Occasional international travel is required.
We are seeking a Wind Energy Technical Performance Engineer in Dubai with 4+ years of experience in technical performance assessment of wind power plants.

Applicants should have a professional-level proficiency in English.
The Wind Turbine Performance Engineer will evaluate and optimise wind farm efficiency.
The core focus of the role will be solving complex technical problems while providing the broader team with the support to drive commercial efforts to resolve them.
The role will also support the asset management teams in developing improvement initiatives to increase the value of operating projects.
The role will also require occasional international travel to our other offices, current projects or potential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise and support on complex performance-related issues on the wind farm.
Responsible for developing data analysis toolsets for plant performance management.
Developing models and tools to support predictive failure analysis.
Support the Technical Performance team and broader Technical objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical performance assessment of wind power plants.
Commercial awareness, specifically the impact of turbine performance and technical decisions on the overall project economics.
Knowledge of data collection systems, analysis methods, machine learning tools, troubleshooting and reporting.
