Fundraising

Job Description:
• Deliver the fundraising objectives as per the fundraising strategy for the organisation.
• Achieve realistic time-limited fundraising targets, both Restricted and Unrestricted funds, agreed in consultation with the Chief of Fundraising
• Create a sustainable and diverse fundraising portfolio, with funding streams including individuals, major gifts, corporates, community, events, trusts/foundations and other grant- makers, with appropriate priorities.
• Carry out prospect research and develop a comprehensive fundraising database that captures all relevant information, as well as handling all administrative aspects of fundraising.
• Manage and update databases to record donor contact and preference information
• Make risk analyses and balancing time-cost ratios to focus effort on the fundraising activities that are most appropriate and will have the highest chance of success. Relationship Management and Reporting
• Lead communication with key donors and funders with the aim of cultivating, growing and sustaining long-term funding and collaboration.
• Ensure reporting to funders is accurate, transparent and timely.

Requirements
• Education: Graduate/Post Graduate degree in a related field
• A minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience with a demonstrable track in fundraising/revenue generation, marketing/sales strategy, business development, and relationship management.
• The incumbent should be extremely good in verbal and written communication in English
• Has raised funds of INR 10 crores per annum in a Not for Profit or Impact driven organisation. Is well networked and understands the laws of the land on the donor
