Job Overview Finray Solar is seeking a reliable and motivated Solar Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential and commercial clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, and contributing to clean energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities Install solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, racking, and electrical components
Perform system maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and repair system issues as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures
Work collaboratively with crew members and project managers
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in solar installation, electrical work, roofing, or construction preferred
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and hand/power tools
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
NABCEP certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus
Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
Comfortable working on roofs and ladders
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods
