The Citadel seeks Adjunct Faculty for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering to teach undergraduate courses in Charleston, SC. Job Responsibilities:


The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is seeking qualified applicants for Adjunct Faculty positions in The Emmitt Davis Department of Civil, Environmental and Construction Engineering, to teach during the fall, spring, or summer terms. Duties involve teaching undergraduate engineering courses to cadet, veteran, active duty, and civilian students in civil and construction engineering degree programs.


Minimum Qualifications:


Applicants should have an earned Master's or Doctorate degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or a related academic field; with a minimum of 18 credit hours completed in graduate-level engineering curriculum related to technical subject matter area of course taught.


Preferred Qualifications:


Preferred qualifications include engineering experience in a field pertaining to course subject matter area, professional licensure in engineering or land surveying, previous teaching experience, and/or completion of teaching workshops or education instructional training.
