The Opportunity
You will step into a premier field leadership role, driving the technical execution and safety of residential solar power installations from initial staging to final system commissioning. This position grants you the professional autonomy to lead in-house deployment crews while mentoring the next generation of solar craftsmen and apprentices. You will directly impact operational quality, grid integration accuracy, and customer satisfaction for a firm dedicated to trade excellence.
How You Will Make An Impact
Lead and supervise field deployment crews on active residential solar installation projects daily.
Interpret intricate electrical schematics, one-line engineering diagrams, and structural site layouts with high precision.
Enforce absolute compliance with National Electrical Code standards and local Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements.
Execute high-level residential electrical service upgrades, main distribution panel changes, and structural wiring alterations.
Install, program, and configure advanced smart energy storage infrastructures including Enphase, Tesla, and SolarEdge systems.
Diagnose complex system connectivity errors and resolve electrical or mechanical malfunctions in real time.
Train, coach, and mentor field installers to uphold rigorous craftsmanship, code compliance, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of verified field experience specializing in technical residential solar installations.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years operating directly as a construction foreman, crew leader, or field supervisor.
Advanced technical mastery reading and interpreting commercial electrical schematics and site structural blueprints.
Proven hands-on capability executing complex service panel changes and high-voltage field troubleshooting procedures.
Comprehensive working knowledge of current NEC frameworks and regional residential building safety codes.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Active electrical trade licensing or specialized clean energy certifications such as NABCEP.
Deep technical diagnostic familiarity with multi-platform monitoring software and microinverter technologies.
Completed safety milestones including an active OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or specialized fall protection credentials.
