RenewableWorks LLC is hiring an Electrical Helper for a solar construction project in Galion, OH. Responsibilities include assembling and installing solar systems, maintaining documentation, and ensuring safety. Candidates must be Ohio residents with solar electrical experience. The future is looking bright in Ohio! RenewableWorks is now accepting applications for ELECTRICAL GENERAL LABOR at our exciting new solar project in the Galion area. Whether you're a seasoned solar professional or aspiring first-timer, we'd love for you to join our crew!


As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for assembling, installing, operating, moving, maintaining and managing solar systems and other structures in compliance with site assessments and schematics. You'll be instrumental in the operations of sustainable energy units on commercial solar farm sites.


Heads up: This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather. A strong work ethic will serve you well, along with prior solar or construction experience (this is a plus, not a must!).

Current Positions

Journey worker with Electrical experience

Job Responsibilities

Connect and install solar panels to existing electrical systems and checking electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding or integrity of terminations
Assist in routing and installing conduit, cable trays, and wires for both DC arrays and AC grid integration
Mount and wire inverters, combiners, disconnects, switchgears, and battery storage units.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of existing industrial solar arrays. Organizing and maintaining system components
Maintaining documentation of completed installations
Completing labor-intensive work in various weather conditions and with various crews
Job site cleanup and organization
Ensuring safety comes first - always!

Job Requirements

MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE STATE OF OHIO(PROOF WILL BE REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE)
MUST HAVE SOLAR ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE
MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO RECRUITER
Ability to lift up to 50-75+ pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
Solar and/or construction site experience is a plus
While tools will be provided onsite, please come ready with steel or composite toed boots and hot/cold weather gear
Attention to performance details
This work is not for the faint of heart - Strong work ethic and positive attitude will serve you well
Hard working and dependable

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $35.52- $35.52 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor were prohibited by local law.
