Segula Technologies is hiring a Project Manager for a 28-month project in Dubai, UAE, focusing on a gas turbine power plant. Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Power Plant to lead site-based project management activities for a major simple cycle gas turbine power plant project in the UAE.

The Project Manager will oversee overall project execution, coordination, and control at site, working closely with the client, contractors, and internal engineering teams. The role reports to the Project Director and ensures the successful delivery of the project within the agreed schedule, budget, and contractual framework.

This position requires strong experience in EPCM project environments within the power generation sector, particularly gas turbine power plants.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead overall project management and execution at site for the power plant project.
• Coordinate with client representatives, contractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Act as the primary communication focal point between stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and track schedules to identify potential delays or risks.
• Follow up on design and document review processes with internal teams and client representatives.
• Coordinate project activities to ensure the successful completion of the project in accordance with contract specifications and project schedule.
• Manage contractual and commercial aspects of the project.
• Provide advice to the employer on legal, contractual, and commercial matters, including claims evaluation.
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary consultant team and monitor team performance.
• Approve key deliverables and take decisions on technical and commercial matters when required.
• Initiate contract variations and claims management with contractors when necessary.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to project stakeholders.
