Asset Manager

Climate17 is hiring an Asset Manager to oversee renewable energy assets including BESS, onshore wind, and solar PV in Ipswich, UK. Responsibilities include operational control, performance analysis, client communication, site inspections, and compliance monitoring. The role requires occasional travel to sites in the UK and abroad. The position is full-time with a salary of £40K–£50K per year, and no specific degree is required.
Climate17 are working with a leading international services provider to the renewable energy sector who manage a portfolio of BESS, onshore wind and solar PV assets for its investment funds clients across Europe. Working in the technical asset management team you will ensure proper operation of storage plants under their management. You will assist in the operational control of all aspects of each project, analyse data, rectify issues and drive performance and quality improvements This role has aspects that are broader than just a technical function including supporting the team with implementation of quality systems and processes which deliver performance improvements and support the growth of the business in the UK. Manage assets on day-to-day basis Be the Client’s point of contact & address Client’s request pertaining to the asset managed Perform Operational Controller duties, including, on call duties during the weekends. Carry out performance analysis Be responsible for Site Logbook monitoring Collection, interpretation and presentation of data extracted from SCADA. Create & Review Health and Safety plans Ensure HSE & Statutory compliance of the asset Carry out site inspections Monitor O&M’s and Service Provider’s performance and contractual obligations When needed, assist financial teams on asset budget calculation & cost tracking Responsible for general administration of each project Support content creation to showcase activities on social media platforms or commercial offers (cases studiers) Supporting on crafting of our BESS Asset Management offers, Attending customer introduction meeting and helping in presenting scope of work to customers, Giving the necessary training to the sales teams to introduce the Asset Management scope of work and the added value of services. Travel The post will involve eventual travel to sites in UK and also abroad.
